Power of Presence
Course ONE
As humans, we are programmed to react – it’s our brains’amazing way of keeping us physically safe. However, remaining in reaction-mode takes a mental toll resulting in heavy, overwhelming and difficult emotions. In Power of Presence, we learn to NOTICE when we are reacting, apply learned skills and mindfulness techniques and make a CHOICE to RESPOND. Our chosen responses are more likely to align with our values.
In 2026, the Power of Presence course will be offered from noon to 1:30pm:
Spring: Tuesdays, April 21, 28 and May 5, 12, 19, & 26.
Summer: Tuesdays, July 7, 14, 21, 28 and August 4 & 11.
Fall: Tuesdays, September 15, 22, 29 and October 6, 13, & 20.
