Mindful Self-Compassion Training

By learning to notice and choose our responses, we prepare ourselves to be mindful of our inner experiences, recognize that all humans face challenges just like us and make the courageous effort to approach our own lives with self-kindness and compassion.

Mindful Self-Compassion

Mindful Self-Compassion (class three) combines insights and techniques from psychology, neuroscience and contemplative practice. Building on MBR skills, this course integrates meditation techniques, interactive discussions, psychoeducation and real-world exercises to create a habit of relating to oneself and the world from a place of greater clarity, joy and purpose. Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a 2-hour class lasting 8-weeks and developed at Stanford University. All MSC participants MUST have completed both Power of Presence and Mindfulness-Based Resiliency.
